Article Processing Charges (APC)

Funding Model

AgriPaT operates as an independent, self-financed open access journal and is not supported by any external agency or government funding. Article Processing Charges (APCs) constitute the primary source of revenue and are used to cover essential publishing services, including peer-review administration, copyediting, typesetting, digital object identification, online hosting, long-term archiving, and journal management.

Article Processing Charges (APC)

All published papers are made freely available to readers worldwide under the journal’s open access policy. There are no submission or handling charges.

Introductory Waiver

To encourage high-quality submissions and support the journal’s establishment phase, no APC will be charged for articles published in Volume 2, Issue 1 and Issue 2.

APC After the Waiver Period

For subsequent issues, or as otherwise notified by the publisher, the following APCs will apply to manuscripts accepted after successful peer review:

  • Pakistani authors: PKR 5,000 per accepted article

  • International authors: USD 30 per accepted article

These rates are designed to remain affordable while ensuring sustainability of editorial and production services.

Waiver and Discount Requests

The journal remains committed to inclusivity. Authors who face genuine financial constraints may request partial or full consideration for APC adjustment. Such requests should be made at the time of submission. Applications received during review or after acceptance may not be considered.

APC policies may be revised periodically. Any changes will be announced on the journal website.
