Author Guidelines

Authors' Guide

1. Manuscript Categories

  • Original Research Articles: Full-length investigations presenting original contributions, typically 3,500–7,000 words.

  • Review Articles: Systematic, integrative, and critical evaluations of the literature, up to 8,000 words.

  • Policy Briefs: Concise, evidence-driven analyses designed to inform policy and practice, 1,200–2,500 words.

  • Short Communications: Brief reports highlighting new findings, data, or methodological innovations, 1,000–2,000 words.

  • Special Issues: Thematically focused collections of papers organized by Guest Editors.

2. General Formatting Requirements

  • Submissions must be prepared in Microsoft Word or LaTeX format.

  • Manuscripts should use Times New Roman, 12-point font, double spacing, and 1-inch margins.

  • Continuous line numbering and page numbering are required.

  • Manuscripts must be submitted as two separate files:

    • Title File: Manuscript title, authors’ names and full affiliations, corresponding author’s email address, and acknowledgements.

    • Main Text File (anonymized): Title, abstract, keywords, main text, references, figures, and tables, with no author-identifying information.

3. Style Guidelines

  • References should follow APA 7th edition style.

  • Tables and figures must be numbered sequentially and cited within the text.

  • Figures should be submitted as separate files with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi.

  • All measurements must be reported using SI units.

4. Ethics & Permissions

  • All submissions must adhere to ethical standards for research involving humans, animals, or sensitive data. Authors are responsible for securing permission for copyrighted materials. Statements on conflicts of interest and funding sources are mandatory.

5. Peer Review Process

  • JAIT follows a double-blind peer-review procedure. Manuscripts are initially screened by the editorial team for scope and quality before being reviewed by at least two independent experts. Editorial decisions are based on originality, methodological rigor, relevance, and reviewer recommendations.

6. How to Submit

  • Manuscripts should be submitted through the JAIT online submission system (link forthcoming). Authors must register, complete submission metadata, and upload all required files. A cover letter outlining the manuscript’s contribution is required.

  • Title File

    • Title of the manuscript

  • Main Text File (no author details):

    • Abstract (250–300 words)

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
